After being raised from the dead a second time, Usna found himself back in Harvest Moon territory. Before he'd even had a chance to take a real breath of fresh forest air, more and more old friends and former pack-mates began appearing on the edges of the pack lands...almost as if they'd been pulled there by forces beyond their comprehension.

Which a lot more sense in retrospect. The Pack Lands, even the forests themselves, had been overcome by something beyond normal sight. A few of the pack members already seemed to have an understanding of what was coming, or at least had a taste by bearing witness to Lupe's abnormal features. There were things in the forest that defied what even Lycans knew about the world.

Between the massive Dire wolves, and the odd lucid dreams his pack-mates were having, Usna knew something was changing the very nature of what they were, turning them into something more.
